VrtPunt: Creation of a points file from vertices of lines or polygons| Presentation | Dialog box of the application |
| Syntax |
In case you are required to generate an output PNT file this output PNT file will have an ID_GRAFIC field and another field ID_GR_LIN or ID_GR_POL which will link to the ID_GRAFIC field of the line or polygon file.
On the other hand, if topological structuring is NOT requested, a direct, simple conversion will be applied, so that there will be points duplicated where there were typical nodes, ring nodes or line nodes, each with the attributes of the line or polygon of which come on. If you want to eliminate these duplicate points (for example, by the presence of typical nodes, or because the elements converted were edges of explicit polygons, in which the majority of borders appeared twice) the VECPNT application can be executed.
If you want to join the same file points from different origins you can use the application Mosaic.
To convert nodes of NOD files to points you can select all the items from MiraMon and export them to a VEC, which will already be points and, therefore, this application will not be necessary. If you want to guarantee the topology, convert them to PNT with the application VECPNT. If you need to transfer attributes of the nodes to the base of points, make a physical join from table N.dbf to T.dbf of the resultant layer of points.
